Deon Blyan

Deon started his career at FGL Sports on the sales floor of the organizations retail banner, Sport Chek, in 1999. Today he oversees a team that provides support and direction in the areas of leadership and management training, product training, equipment service shop training and support, customer service training at store level, and customer service call center at head office to the retail banners of Sport Chek, Atmosphere, National Sports, and Pro Hockey Life. Deon is currently finishing his Masters of Arts in Leadership and is passionate about organizational learning and development, leadership and management development, and strategic planning. As an individual who enjoys playing tennis, hockey, and downhill skiing, Deon is proud to be part of an organization focused on inspiring Canadians to live healthy active lives. Deon is also excited to be part of an organization that is revolutionizing the customer experience and connection through advanced digital store concepts and engaged active store teams.
